Duck

19 Feb

“What’s this?” I asked Daniel as I pointed to the chicken in his favourite book.

“A DUCK!” He told me, clearly proud of himself.

“Good guess buddy, but that’s a chicken.”

“No, DUCK!” he told me with certainty.

“No, it’s a chicken.”

“DUCK!”

“Chicken.”

“DUCK!”

I think he would have argued his point all night, so I gave up and went to the next page. Sigh. #YouCan’tArgueWithaToddler

Like father, like son……I remember one visit here when Aaron called all birds ducks.

Aaron still maintains that all birds are ducks. He doesn’t actually think that, but he will argue the point anyway. I don’t let him say that in front of the kids though because I don’t want them to be confused. Like father like son, except son has never heard father say that. Must be in the genetics…
