I’ve been singing to Hannah while she has a bath since she was tiny. She loves it. Ok, she used to love it. I’m not delusional, I know I suck at singing. But I did it anyway. Kids don’t care if your singing sounds like a dying moose, they just like that you sing to them. Until they get to toddler-hood….
Hannah was in the bath the other day and I was singing to her as usual.
“Twinkle twinkle little star” I belted.
She looked at me all serious and told me matter of factly:
I would be offended if I wasn’t laughing so hard.
Don’t forget to vote once per day! I was #1 for a couple hours, and it sure felt great. I would love to be #1 again!!! Thanks!
Haha.
My daughter ends up telling me to be quiet, to stop dancing and not move. I’m beginning to think that at 2 going on 3 she is already embarassed by me! lol!
Great blog by the way. Am new here, but am definately your newest subscriber.
Haha, maybe it’s a 2 year old thing. Hannah tells me to stop dancing too. I must be embarrassing too!
Love your artwork! 🙂
Thanks 🙂
That’s so funny! My oldest son, who just turned 6, gets totally embarrassed whenever I sing really loud in the car, which I tend to do. Who doesn’t? But both he and my middle son, who’s 4 LOVE dancing with me. I guess I should cherish that, huh?
yes, cherish what you can before they get embarrassed just by standing next to you. I’m not looking forward to that day…
